Get the rose tteokbokki!!! My foodie friend Jodie told me about Seoul Alley earlier this summer. I finally got to try it with her, and it did not disappoint. This dish is $20 and comes with sausage and a lot of chopped onions. We felt like they cooked everything in the sausage oil/fats, which is what makes the dish very flavorful. I also tried the 20pc Korean fried chicken $30 with two flavors: soy garlic and K-sweet and mild. Soy garlic is good. Chicken wings are fried well. K-sweet mild wasn’t as good as soy garlic and had a hint of sourness. The KFC came with two little dishes of radish cubes. I love these to cut the heavy flavors. Inside the restaurant is dark and loud. It has more of a pocha vibe, and it’s fun to get drinks here with friends. Parking in downtown Monrovia is street parking and free! I don’t think parking is usually hard to find, but be prepared to walk a bit.

Great spot for a fun night out! Seoul Alley has a lively Korean pub atmosphere, good food, drinks, and friendly service. Everything we tried was tasty and the vibe made it a great place to hang out with friends. Definitely worth checking out if you’re looking for Korean food and a casual late-night atmosphere. Would come back again!!

Recently discovered a korean pocha in 626! This restaurant is tucked away in downtown Monrovia and if you are craving korean street food now you don't have to drive all the way to Koreatown. There is plenty of seating for large groups, a bar, and would be best suited for a casual night out with some cocktails! The food is not too salty which I appreciated and the service is timely. What I recommend: Korean Fried Chicken: super crispy, if you get the garlic one it comes with fresh fried garlic cloves! Rose Tteokbokki: a classic stable korean pocha dish, they do it right here its creamy and not too heavy! Fluffy Egg: self explanatory -- get cheese on top for a cheese pull Parking: the free lots around downtown Monrovia!

Came here on a Saturday afternoon with my parents and there was no wait and got seated right away. The restaurant itself is super nice, it has all the trendy vibes that you typically see at Korean pubs. They have a full bar that’s decked out too! Some of our favorite items were the bulgogi fried rice, bulgogi fries, and of course, their soy garlic wings. Believe me when I tell you those wings are addicting! Super crispy and crunchy with a ton of flavor. It’s really saucy too and pairs well with all of their shareable plates. Cocktails are solid if you’re looking to drink. Service was great as the server came over multiple times to check on my parents and I. 100% would come back and a lot closer than going to ktown!

Had a great time at Seoul Alley! Fun Korean pocha vibe with lively energy—perfect for friends or a girls’ night out. Loved the crispy onion rings and sweet potato fries, and the bulgogi skillet and fire chicken rice were super flavorful and addictive. Boneless fried chicken was juicy with the perfect crunch, and the Peach Ring & Lychee Belt drinks were refreshing and fun. Great food, drinks, and vibes—would definitely come back.
